This is a Canadian made Calton dreadnought case with gray exterior and blue interior. The rubber bumpers would indicate this was a later generation, likely made around 2007. These are professional touring cases, and frankly the only touring case I would ever consider using. Personally, I own four Caltons at present, one Canadian made, three made in Texas, and frankly the Canadian cases are my favorite. There are some chips present in the paint, but overall the case is in great condition, with a very clean interior. There are no signs of abuse, no indications it was ever in a smoking environment, nor any abnormalities to report. Likewise, the leather handle is an excellent condition. The nameplate indicates this case was originally ordered by First Quality Music in Louisville, a company who I still miss doing business with. That is a story for another time. In the meantime, save yourself a tremendous amount of money off the price of a new Calton by purchasing this one.
