Martin D-28 Authentic 1937

$5,599.00
sold out

On consignment, is this 2014 C.F Martin D-28 1937 Authentic, Adirondack spruce and Madagascar Rosewood. The only thing which would indicate this instrument is actually 11 years old, is the way it sounds. it is an excellent condition with the frets showing barely any wear, and only shows superficial signs of handling, with very few bumps and bruises over the last 11 years. as the video demo indicates to you, it sounds simply fantastic, with deep lows, and a very pleasant high-end. It sports a non VTS top, which many players considered to be a huge benefit, as they feel that torrefied tops tend to have sharp/ unpleasant sounding frequencies, especially in the treble range. Like with most of the Authentic line, the neck is not over-set, thus the saddle is on the lower side of what many expect, especially those who are accustomed to the modern belly/ drop in saddle. It is provided with a Martin branded TKL HSC.
