Santa Cruz PW Adirondack and Mahogany

$5,699.00
sold out

On consignment, It is a pleasure to present to you this 2008 Santa Cruz Guitar Company PW, built from Adirondack spruce and mahogany. this is one of those instruments that screams instant classic! The tone, volume, play ability, and overall comfort level of the slightly smaller dreadnought body shape, takes the classic dreadnought to new levels of enjoyment. I can tell you not many instruments have the tone and bass response of this one, which spares absolutely nothing, and greets a microphone as if it were an old friend. it has thick and luscious mids, and trebles which have the ability to go from dark and soothing, to cutting and screaming in an instant. Additionally, when compared to the price of a new instrument from SCGC, you will see that this is an unbelievable value. don’t take our word for it, check out the video demo and hear it in action for yourself. It is an excellent plus condition, only showing minor signs of handling, and some light finish crazing along the edges of the headstock. The action is low, neck is straight, there is plenty of saddle, and frets show nearly no wear. also remember that we offer free shipping in the continental United States.

Specs include, construction year of 2008, mahogany back and sides, Adirondac red spruce top, Adirondack red spruce bracing, forward shifted and scalloped prewar X brace pattern, hot hide glue construction, vintage toner finish, bone nut and modern belly saddle, Ebony fingerboard and bridge, 1 3/4 nut width, 2 3/16 saddle spacing, mahogany V profile neck with volute, Grover open gear tuners, housed in the original Santa Cruz case, made by Ameritage.
